Armed Forces Day Run Test

On June 29th, we celebrate Armed Forces Day to honour all of those men and women currently serving throughout the world among the British Military. Knowing the fantastic career opportunities which come with the British Military, we highly recommend considering and further researching into the opportunities.

Before starting your career in the British Military, regardless of the role, you will be required to cover basic standards in fitness, academics and health qualities.

Below, you can find a run test that will help you to get one step closer to joining the British Military today:

British Army

Total distance to be covered: 2km (1.2 miles)

Age: 16-32
Male: 11:15
Female: 11:15

(Time may vary depending on the role that you are to qualify for.)

British Navy

Total distance to be covered: 2.4km

Age:             15-24       |       25-29       |       30-34       |       35-39      
Male:           11:09       |       11:09       |       11:58       |       12:23      
Female:       13:10       |       13:37       |       14:05       |       14:33

British RAF (Royal Air Force)

Total distance to be covered: 2.4km

Age:             15-16       |       17-29       |       30-34       |       35-39       |       40-44      
Male:           11:39       |       11:11       |       11:36       |       12:00       |       12:26      
Female:       13:14       |       13:23       |       13:47       |       14:13       |       14:48
