The 2019 Tour de France is due to commence July 6th departing from Bruxelles making it the second Grand Dèpart held in 1958 that will honor one of the country’s specialty: sprinting! Despite the fact that the day’s visit will take the riders on the roads of the Flanders Classics, the perspective of a bunched finish in front of the Royal Palace remains the most likely. But a solo exploit can’t be excluded!
Following the completion of stage one, the next 3,265.5 kilometers of the 106th edition of the race will feature five mountain-top finishes assuring that the owners of the jerseys will be the best of the best. This will truly celebrate the 100th year of the yellow jersey.
On the lead up to the race, 4x Tour Champion Chris Froome is out with an injury, but could Garrett Thomas be retaining his title under Team Ineos, formerly known as Team Sky?!
